Oz Music Entertainment has been part of the Australian music industry since 1980, Born in to Sydney’s music scene that thrived on Australian rock, emerging out of the disco scene regularly performing at some of west Sydney’s top night spots. Oz Music travelled the southern states of Australian performing as house dj at some of the country’s top night spots, Billboards (Melbourne), the seven level spectacular called JEWELS of Adelaide and Sylvester’s of Adelaide, after a stint at Brisbane’s famous Caesars palace and the Toowoomba club as well, it was decided to relocate our base of operations to Queensland
Oz Music has been based on the sunshine coast since 1985. Oz music brought with them a flair for the dramatic using the latest equipment sound and lighting to give their audiences a great night’s entertainment. Since being on the sunshine coast, oz music is big part of the sunshine coast music scene, having performing regularly at most coast hotels as well as having regular gigs as the house dj at places like the Mooloolaba tavern, maroochy surf club, woombye hotel and Stewart’s hotels to name just a few.
Oz music was a big part of the sunshine coasts blue light disco scene, as one point providing the total sound & lighting packages for every blue light disco held on the sunshine coast, regularly performing to over 1000 screaming teenagers.
Oz music was also the chosen disco entertainers for several of the coasts largest entertainment venues, for all their functions, like Mooloolaba yacht club, Nambour RSL, Maroochydore RSL, Hyatt Coolum, Twin Waters and Oasis of Caloundra.
More recently Oz Music has been catering to the formal and corporate market, providing there brand of fun filled entertainment for formal functions, wedding, graduations and alike but also popular on the corporate scene, as either band support for corporate functions or after function entertainment.
